The last issue of the Clergy Newsletter included a section entitled “Focus on Maintaining Safe Environment Standards”. In that section, #2 and #4 indicated that when bringing in visiting priests to celebrate a sacrament or when inviting a speaker to make a presentation the individual must present a celebret or affidavit of good standing issued within a one-year period. As a result of some recent unfortunate situations involving clergy who possessed a celebret or affidavit but who were no longer in good standing, the Presbyteral Council has approved a revision to this policy.

Effective immediately, all clergy and speakers must present a celebret or affidavit issued within the previous six-weeks.

Theo qui định mới trên đây của Giáo phận Dallas, các linh mục ghé thăm giáo xứ hoặc đến giảng dạy về đề tài nào đó đều phải trình văn thư chứng nhận (celebret or affidavit). Văn thư chứng nhận này phải do toà giám mục hoặc bề trên thẩm quyền cấp phát trong vòng 6 tuần trước đó.
