How to play a DVD with Media Player Classic with Separate SRT file

1. Download Media Player Classic.  It is freeware.

2. Setup Media Player:

a. Go to View/Options

b. From Options window, select "Internal Filters".

c. Select everything on "Source Filters" and "Transform Filters" palletes.

d. Select language from "DVD/OGM" option.

3. To play subtitle file, go to File menu and select "Load Subtitle".  Loading of the subtitle file could happen anytime during DVD playback.  The SRT file has timing data that matches the subtitles to video frame timing.  If you want to display only subtitles of your choice, remember to turn off DVD subtitles from DVD menu.
