World Day of Prayer for Vocations (April 25)
Ngày Thế Giới Cầu Nguyện Cho Ơn Gọi sẽ được tổ chức vào Chúa nhật thứ 4 Phục sinh ngày 25 tháng 4 sắp tới, cũng còn gọi là “Chúa Nhật Chúa Chiên Lành.” Mục đích của ngày này là để thực hiện lời dạy của Chúa Giêsu, đó là “Xin Chủ mùa gặt sai thợ ra gặt lúa về” (Mt 9:38; Lc 10:2). Xin mọi người hãy cầu nguyện để có những người trẻ lắng nghe và quảng đại đáp trả lời mời gọi của Chúa trong đời sống linh mục, phó tế, tu sĩ, cùng những hiệp hội tông đồ. Mọi người có thể tìm thấy nhiều tài liệu để cổ võ cho nền văn hóa ơn gọi trong trang mạng của Hội đồng Giám mục Hoa Kỳ về ơn gọi (www.uscbs.org/vocations).
World Day of Prayer for Vocations will be observed on 4th Sunday of Easter, April 25th, also known as “Good Shepherd Sunday.” The purpose of this day is to publically fulfill the Lord’s instruction to, “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest” (Mt 9:38; Lk 10:2). Please pray that the young men and women hear and respond generously to the Lord’s call to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, societies of apostolic life or secular institutes.
