REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE UPCOMING LISTENING SESSIONS
IN 2022 AND 2023
The Diocese of Dallas continues its preparations for the Dallas Synod that will take place in 2024 by holding 10 public listening sessions in 2022 and 2023. These conversations are an integral part of the synodal process.
Each of these events will include the following elements:
· Opening prayer with Bishop Burns and Bishop Kelly
· Over 2 hours of table discussion on the topic chosen for each session
· Q&A with Bishop Edward J. Burns, Synod Preparatory Commission Chair Lacy de la Garza, and other guests
· Closing prayer and dismissal
Each event's discussion questions will be sent out in advance to those who register for each particular session. Dates, times, and locations are posted as confirmed.

The success of these listening sessions, and ultimately the Synod meeting in 2024, hinges upon the participation of all Catholics in the diocese. Your participation, and sharing your experience, will help accomplish the Bishop’s hope for this Synodal process, which is to develop a “pastoral plan that can listen to the wisdom and insights of all the members of the diocese”.
